6 week ultrasound no heartbeat

Jun 9, 2017 · I just had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and dr didn't find a sac or heartbeat. she wanted blood work done to measure HCG and results came back today and it was at 4100. My HCG has risen from 583 to 1697 to 4100 in a weeks time (dr had my blood drawn 3 times since i found out i was pregnant a week ago.

I went in for my 7-week ultrasound today and it appears I'm only 6 weeks with no heartbeat. Is it possible I ovulated late? The numbers don't add up.
