Interesting, because I bought the box at Menards and it's designed for in-wall application with 2 outlet holes in the bottom. Came with instructions from the manufacturer on installing the outlet Also, that outlet is in a box. Had to make a trip back to Menards to get the recommended box since I didn't realize it wasn't included.
