Taurus tx22 bad barrel serial numbers

Aug 26, 2022 · My recently purchased TX22 has a fairly high serial number. The barrel has 22LR on one side and the other side is blank, making me think that even though the gun is current, the barrel is old stock. Also, the recoil spring looks to be the original version, but I'm replacing it with the Lakeline buffered one to prevent possible future slide issues.
