I recently had to change to internal IP of my Comcast gateway, a CISCOModel dpc3941b, from 10.1.10.1 to 192.168.1.1, and now I can't log into it from the Admin Tool Login page.The reason why some users prefer 10.0.0.0/8 vs 192.168.1.0/24 is because of the amount of numbers to type. You can get a different public IP addy assigned by putting that gateway device in to bridge mode and then attaching a separate / stand-alone router to it.
